Why now?

What could there possibly be to share yet on this strawberry? They just got planted last week. In regards to shipping, that’s a different story. I did not appreciate being pushed off a whole month for shipment under the claim that they would be shipped out at the “proper time” and my existing strawberries were in bloom and some already setting fruit. The only choice left to me was to cancel the order or pick them in person, requiring a 2-1/2 hr drive one way to Morton to get them, as by this time local supplies were almost nonexistent. Not impressed! Other nurseries I order time sensitive items from also give me the option of selecting a different shipping window and are happy to honor that.
