ALMONDS
(Prunus amygdalus) Almonds are beautiful
ornamentals with their attractive foliage and early spring pink fragrant flowers. They are of the "prunus" genus and resemble a peach tree. Except, you discard the fruit, crack open the
pit and eat the nut inside. The tree can be maintained at 15' to 20' tall.
