Iris bulbs are available only in summer and fall for fall planting...10 BULBS PER PACKAGE-Unless otherwise noted. Providing dazzling blooms for "Mothers Day", these are excellent long lasting cut flowers and add glorious color in thelate spring garden. The single formal flowers and upright foliage give wonderful linear form to your border. They bloom well in full sun in cool summer climates and prefer partial shade in hot summer climates. Planting depth is 3 times the bulb diameter (slightly deeper in colder areas), up to 6 inches maximum, space 4" apart. Treat Dutch Iris as an annual in locations where summer temperatures exceed 85 degrees F for extended periods. Provide a humousy, well-drained soil pH 5.2 to pH 7 and enrich with bone meal.

(Iris ensata) The Japanese Iris has flowers up to eight inches in diameter. Plants spread to two feet wide. They grow in sun or partial shade and like a rich, moist acidic soil and can be left for many years without dividing. Cut plants to 6" high each fall.
