We will ship again in September though November at the appropriate time for fall planting in your area. We only guarantee and recommend Fall Shipping for those of you in USDA Zones 6-10. People in harsh winter areas should wait until spring to plant. Placing and paying for your order now will save you money by locking in current 2010 prices and shipping costs.

Easy to grow, loaded with fruit. Developed in Russia by renowned plant breeder I.V. Michurin. It takes a few years before the colors begin so don’t visit the optometrist yet. It rates among the best backyard ornamentals from Vladivostok to Kalamazoo. ($19.95 Each; 3 or more $17.50 Each) This seedling of cultivar 'Qui' Qui was selected near the border of North Korea from the wild near Chang Bai Mountain Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agriculture. We offer Chang Bai because it is very productive and flavorful, the green fruit has a unique almost heart shape. Its from a cold mountainous region and should be as winter hardy as other hardy kiwis. However, it is more winter hardy (to about 5 degrees F) and it is successfully grown from California to as far north as Vancouver, Canada, since it ripens a couple of weeks before the variety Hayward. It is a large sweet fruit, heavily productive and easy to peel. (Fuzzy female kiwis can be pollinized by the Male Fuzzy (H380).  full description
