A vigorous grower, it produces many clusters of large very sweet berries that are great eaten fresh or for juice or jelly. It has a 'foxy' flavor that is excellent in juice, but does not make for a great wine. Winter hardy it does well in most of the nation but ripens too late in the Pacific Northwest.
