(3 or more $17.50/Each) This seedling of cultivar 'Qui' Qui was selected near the border of North Korea from the wild near Chang Bai Mountain Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agriculture. We offer Chang Bai because it is very productive and flavorful.and the green fruit has a unique almost heart shape. Its from a cold mountainous region and should be as winter hardy as other hardy kiwis. Needs male arguta for pollination.
(H. coriacea) An attractive flowering vine, hardy to 0° F and evergreen in the Pacific NW and warmer climates. It is a fast grower with glossy green leaves and fragrant purple colored flowers. It bears an attractive two inch long purple edible fruit.
What makes this sweet, heavy producing, hardy kiwi unique is that is ripens in September, a full month before Ananasnaja. The fruit is of medium size and somewhat ribbed, like a little green pumpkin. All Arguta females can be pollinized by Arguta 'male'. A selection from the elegant Dumbarton Oaks Estate in Washington D.C.'s Georgetown.

This heavy producing vine makes an excellent white Riesling tye wine. It consistently ripens and produces a high quality wine in areas with cool summers where other cultivars fail. These 2-3 year large vines are grafted on Couderc 3309 rootstock.
Also called Hon Beni. Produces loads of sweetly perfumed elongated bright pink flowers each spring. Color lightens as the flowers open- may fade to white in hot areas. One gallon pot.
