(Gunnera tinctoria) Each leaf on these awe inspiring plants from Chile are up to six feet across. The leaves are lobed with cut edges. The young stocks are edible if peeled and taste like rhubarb. It needs a sunny spot and rich soil high in nitrogen. It loves moisture in the air and thrives in the Pacific Northwest.
