A top commercial variety in California, Granada's fruit matures in mid-August. Fruit is a deep red color, inside and out. 'Granada' is the Spanish name for pomegranates.

A newly offered dwarf pomegranate with soft seeds and a flavorful, sweet-tart taste. Naturally dwarf in habit, bushes set profuse amounts of fruit even when young. This attractive pomegranate has a sweet refreshing flavor and is unique because of its sweet crunchy edible seeds. It has a very sweet flavor and very soft seeds, making it seem almost seedless. Its original name was Pink Ice. Zones 8-10.
