Bananas

We offer bananas that can be grown not only in the tropics, but in many areas of the U.S. The Basjoo is surprisingly hardy. The others are dwarf cultivars which can be grown in a pot. If you aren't in USDA Zones 9 or 10 you can grow these bananas outdoor in the summer and indoors in the winter. Bananas thrive in warm year around temperatures, a minimum of 70 or 75 degrees. They need alot of light. Make sure to repot them with a good potting soil mix. They will also thrive grown potted all year in a greenhouse.
