Also called Pineapple Guavas, these handsome evergreen bushes grow slowly to about 10’ tall and wide. Edible white flowers have an exotic look, with long, bright red stamens topped with large grains of yellow pollen. These fragrant blooms attract hummingbirds and bees and and taste like cinnamon cotton candy. Delicious, green, oval fruit ripens in fall in areas with warm summers. Plants are hardy to about 15° F, but fruit rarely ripens outside in the Pacific Northwest.

USDA Zones 8-11.
