Beautiful, fragrant blooms, creamy-white tinged with purple-violet, cover the vine April to June. Then in summer, walnut-shaped, purple fruits, sweet enough to eat out of hand, Japan, and it grows well in the Pacific Nortwest. Vines appreciate shelter from cold winds. USDA Zones 7-10.
