Our Garden Center, located on our nursery grounds in Southwest Washington near Morton, has the same plants that you would get if you had us ship them to you. Coming here gives you the opportunity to browse among our potted plants while we pull bare root trees for you from our cold storage facility.    Our regular mail order plants fit in a compact car, However we also have large bearing size plants that are too big,  heavy and expensive to ship. Call for availabilty of these beautiful large bearing plants. (800) 391-8892.      You will need a van or pickup truck for our large specimen plants. If you bring a truck, please have a canopy or a tarp because these trees of course are growing and have leaves that would be damaged if driven home out in the wind.                                                                                                                                                Our potted fruit and ornamental trees will make the perfect Christmas gift! WINTER & SPRING AT THE GARDEN CENTER  

January through May is the optimum time to plant bare root fruit trees and berries. We dig our trees in December once they lose their leaves and go dormant. We then relocate them to our cold storage facility which keeps them in optimum condition. Many of our plants, including our fruit trees, are bare root and kept in cold storage, so please be patient while our staff retrieves them for you.

   Amazingly, the trees listed throughout the catalog can be wrapped to fit into a compact car. If you want to pick-up our larger balled & burlap plants remember to bring a van, trailer, or pickup truck and remember to bring your tarp. If you need a tarp, one can be purchased in the Garden Center. We have many plants that are not listed in the catalog; be sure to ask about them when you visit. We also have a seconds area. They are $5 each. Unlike our regular trees, seconds are not guaranteed.

(Note: We hire a fruit hobbyist who lives within commuting distance for weekend work. Call if you're interested.)

January 19 - June 5 we are open Wednesday - Sunday from 10:00am until 4:00pm.

June 6- January 18, Closed  Sunday; Open other days from 10:00am until 4:00pm.

  Catalog & Garden Center Plant Availability

Most plants are available from January through June. During the main season of mid January through mid June we have most of the plants listed in the catalog. For more information, see our reasons to visit the nursery.
