These are a group of very flavorful, mostly yellow, small round plums. They come from the Alsace Lorraine region near the border of France and Germany. Trees are very productive and used for fresh eating, cooking and for making brandy.

Translated as Queen of the Mirabelle's, it is larger than the others and has yellow skin and superb flavor. It ripens a week or two after the other Mirabelles. It is prized in Europe as a culinary plum, for fresh eating and for luscious preserves. It may be a cross of a Mirabelle and a Gage plum.
