A self fertile, very large, dark red cherry introduced and patented by Washington State University. It is crack resistant and very flavorful. On our dwarf Gisela 5 rootstock, it will produce more fruit, sooner then cherries on other rootstocks. A great backyard selection.
This very firm, sweet dark red, crack and rot resistant cherry extends the cherry harvest for two weeks or more. Introduced in 1935 by the NY Experiment Station, we have reintroduced it for its outstanding flavor, productivity and late season. On Gisela 5 rootstock. Needs a pollenizer.

This tree is on a Citation rootstock, better for heavier soils.
