This very firm, sweet dark red, crack and rot resistant cherry extends the cherry harvest for two weeks or more. Introduced in 1935 by the NY Experiment Station, we have reintroduced it for its outstanding flavor, productivity and late season. On Gisela 5 rootstock. Needs a pollenizer.

Large, black, late season cherry of the highest quality, rivaling Bing. Lambert is less susceptible to cracking due to its later ripening. Lambert is heart-shaped and meaty with excellent quality. It's prized for fresh eating and cooking. Introduced in Oregon in 1896 and still a favorite.
