We offer a collection of unusual Apricots and Apricot crosses from around the world!

We are offering Puget Gold and Harglow. Both bloom later and tolerate more frost while still setting fruit. They fruit where numerous other varieties have failed, extending the area in which Apricots can be successfully grown. They also appear to be somewhat less susceptible to disease.

If you are not in a late frost pocket, try them. We offer sturdy well rooted 4-6' trees.Our customers find our trees to be of the highest quality!

BUNDLE OF 5 $85.00

This small tree (8 to 10' tall) is big on the uniqueness scale. A cross with the fine attributes of three fruits, peach, apricot, and plum, the fruit has yellow skin blushed almost completely red with a slightly fuzzy texture much like an apricot. It is partially freestone and has yellow flesh and a wonderfully complex flavor.

Expect ripe fruit in early June in California. A Pluot makes the best pollinizer. Needs at least 500 chill hours. Patent pending.

Cot-N-Candy Aprium / Citation

Floyd Ziger did not release an Aprium until it could compete with the outstanding Flavor Delight. This white fleshed Apricot-plum hybrid has both incredible sweetness and flavor. It's partially self fertile but get bigger crops if pollinated by an apricot.

One of the earliest ripening fruits, in mid June in California it also blooms very early and is difficult to grow in late frost areas. Thin fruit early to maximize size and quality. Chill hours 600.

Dapple Dandy Pluot / Citation

This large freestone fruit is also called 'Dinosaur Egg'. When the incredibly sweet and delicious red and white flesh is ripe, the yellow/green skin turns a dappled maroon and yellow. A frequent taste test winner for its distinct Plum-Apricot flavor.

Dandy is a good pollinizer for Pluot varieties and among the most widely adaptable to colder climates. Thin the fruit so it doesn't overset and become biennial. Chill hours 500.

Flavor Delight Aprium / Mariana 2624

This hybrid is 3/4 apricot and 1/4 plum. The flesh is yellow and firm like an apricot but it has a combination of apricot and plum flavor. The fruit is two inches long. It ripens in mid July on a vigorous upright tree that can be maintained at about ten feet tall. It is self fertile (no boy cot is needed), but has biggest crops when pollinized by any apricot.

A patented Floyd Zaiger introduction recommended for USDA Zones 6-9. Produced well at Mt. Vernon station. Less than 300 hours of chill needed.

Flavor Supreme Pluot / Myro 29c

Flavor Supreme is the sweetest and most flavorful of all the pluots and that's saying alot. The rich, sweet red flesh is covered by maroon and green mottled skin. Pluots require hot summers to achieve their full flavor. It needs a Japanese plum or other pluot for pollination and requires 700 or more chill hours.
