Morello cherries have a deep crimson flesh and rich wine red juice. English Morello is an old variety, grown for centuries. It has tart, aromatic flesh. The juice is abundant and excellent for cooking and pie making.
The large heart shaped dark red fruit is free stone and ripens in August, at the end of the cherry season. The tree habit is small, easily maintained at 8 feet or less.
