It needs a lot of room to grow, spreading up and out to 30 feet and after a few hundred years to about 70 feet. If you have room for them, plant them. The yellow fall foliage is beautiful. The wood, though hard to split, is great for firewood and for furniture. Plant some and leave a legacy.
